Chicken Pie & Fruit Tart

Sorry.. act mmg nak letak resepi chicken pie nih.. tp tak sempat2.. anyway.. resepi mmg Fatin intai mane lagi.. kat Mamafami laa.. http://mamafami.fotopages.com/?entry=716055 huhu.. tp Fatin buat cara lain sikit.. style mama Fatin.. masak inti.. and bakar sekali je la.. tp fatin letak bekas pie tuh kat bawah sekali dlm oven.. (sbb oven rumah nih tak bole control nak api bawah saja) and Fatin lebihkan butter for the crust.. or kurangkan tepung.. nih cara Fatin laa.. huhu..



since Fatin nih buat lebih kurang jer.. (ukuran lebih kurang sbb tade penimbang..) huhu.. so begini la resepi nyer..

Chicken Pie (style Fatin)
Filling:
Butter
Chicken fillet (diced)
Cheddar cheese (grated)
1 onion (diced)
mix vege
1 packet of chicken cream soup Campbell (yg instant soup yg kecik tuh)
salt
(bole juga buh pepper.. Fatin ade Farzana.. so Fatin tak buh pepper)

Crust :
300 - 350 g flour (sifted)
200g butter
1 teaspoon of salt + almost 200ml water (Fatin larutkan air garam n simpan dlm fridge)

Method :
Filling : (Fatin start with filling)
1. Melt butter and braise onion till soft. Add in chicken.
2. Add the Campbell powder and fresh milk, little at a time and stir well.
3. Add cheese and later mix vege. Add sugar n salt. When it's thick, off the fire.

Crust:
1. Margarine + flour = make into breadcrumbs.
2. Add in salty water till soft dough is formed.
3. Divide into 2 portions and let it rest for at least 20 minutes
4. Roll thin the dough for the base. Put it in the pie dish.
5. Put in the filling.
6. Roll thin the second portion of the dough to cover the filling. Trim the edges and press with a fork to seal.
7. Poke with fork, divide the pie to 8 (or as desired) portions.
8. Decorate as desired with the remaining dough.
9. Brush with yolk. (Fatin simpan overnight or few hours dlm fridge before bake)
10. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 C for 40 - 45 minutes.


biasa dough crust ade lebih.. so Fatin bakar kosong utk buat fruit tart.. (tp act Fatin perhatikan resepi tart ade bubuh telur sebiji at least utk crust dia..) but as for me.. since dough crust lebih.. Fatin just bake kosong utk buat fruit tart lak.. just jgn bakar lama.. about 20mins and buat la saiz kecil2..

Custard tahan for few days(about 3 days). So bila nak mkn.. just bubuh custard dlm crust tart then tambah diced strawberies, kiwi and maybe banana? huhu.. hidang bila nak mkn..
