Breakfast with homemade bread/bun

sedang bakar..
oven baru beli last Saturday..
tak tahu camne nak buat berkilat cam Mamafami buat..
sapu marjerin after baked.. tp ntah.. tak berkilat sgt pun..
bun kosong, bun with cheese.. bla bla bla..
simpan utk ayah..
pagi nih Fatin buat roti sendiri.. try resepi from fp Mamafami.. (basic bread recipe nyer) thanks so much for sharing the recipe.. so excited sbb ok la juga.. roti naik.. jadi.. cuma, roti sausage.. tepi n dalam dia lambat skit masak.. but I learnt from mistake.. kene buat nipis2 skit.. tak sempat Ayah nak try yg nih dulu before g keje.. blk nanti ye Ayah.. huhu.. Fatin simpan 2 sausage breads utk Abg..

p/s- maybe la tade la nampak cam best sgt.. tp fatin sgt excited sbb nih first time Fatin buat roti.. org baru dpt oven.. huhu.. hehe.. mintak2 oven tuh panas la sentiasa.. jgn awal2 jer.. kui kui..

BASIC BREAD RECIPE (Roshayati Johari)

Ingredients :

(A)
500g bread flour/high protein flour
100g sugar
1 teaspoon salt
30g milk powder
1 teaspoon bread improver (optional)
1 teaspoon bread softener (optional)
4 teaspoons instant dry yeast

(B)
250ml water
1 egg (lightly beaten)

(C)
40g butter
40g shortening

Method :
1. Mix well all ingredients in (A)
2. Add (B) into (A) and knead till smooth.
3. Add (C) and continue kneading till smooth and shiny and dough does not stick to your hand.
4. Leave to prove for 30 - 40 minutes.
5. Punch down the dough to let the air out.
6. Divide the dough according to the weight you wish. Make into balls and leave to rest for 10 minutes.
7. Shape accordingly.
8. Leave to prove for 40 minutes - 1 hour.
9. Bake till golden brown.

Note :
To make this Sausage Mix Vegetable Buns, I divided the dough to 70g each. Shape it and then sprinkle some mix vegetables on top. Pipe some mayonaise and tomato sauce.
[Edit : For ingredient (C), you can also use 80g margarine OR 80g shortening, instead of 40g butter + 40g shortening ]

note from Fatin: Fatin tade penimbang.. so Fatin pakai cup beras.. (nak buat camne.. serba kekurangan nih buat keje.. hehe..) so Fatin tak berapa berani nak kasik 'resepi' Fatin sbb ikut ukuran cup la pulak.. tapi kalu ade yg nak.. bila Fatin ade masa Fatin update pasnih Fatin letak.. then, Fatin tak pakai shortening.. so Fatin ganti, butter jadi 80g.. Fatin cairkan sikit butter.. (dulu ade belajar kat kelas.. cairkan cara double boiled ker nama dia.. lupa dah.. ) tp panaskan air, letak bowl atas air tuh.. nih cara nak cairkan butter ngan cooking chocolate.. tp bole je gak panaskan slow atas api.. kot.. yg optional pun Fatin tak buh.. kalu dia tak naik/kembang biar dulu.. masa biar tuh.. fatin tutup ngan kain.. kain lembap skit.. takde la lembap sgt.. tp tak kering la kain tuh.. uli2 tuh.. fatin tambah2 skit air n tepung till dough cam ok.. tak melekat kat tgn n bekas.. selamat mencuba!
